Caroline’s on Broadway recently held a March Madness competition. The idea was to put 64 comedians against each other in a NCAA like bracket. I begged to be in it, but wasn’t accepted. But persistence pays off my friends.

I showed up on the first night and took the spot of comedian Eric Andre, a very funny dude, who couldn’t make it. And 5 weeks later, I ended up getting 2nd place, losing to the hilarious Julian McCullough, who recently taped Live at Gotham. Ahh, the silver medal. Of all the complete losers, I was the best. I watched my beloved Ohio State Buckeyes get 2nd place, and somehow I just knew my fate would be the same. I dont know what it is about Ohio, but football, basketball, Democratic Party and now comedians. All second place. (Click on the icon to see my set.)
