Lately, good news just keeps on coming in my career.  First, i got “passed” at a New York comedy club called Comic Strip Live.  Being “passed” means you can send in your available times every week to recieve paid spots in front of great crowds.  I have to thank Greg Fitzsimmons for getting me the audition.  Here’s my successful audition set.

Second, I got two calls in a row.  One giving me an audition set at Stand Up New York, and the other giving me an audition for the Montreal Comedy Festival.  I’ll be doing that while I’m in Boston for the Boston Comedy Festival, along with a show with the Walsh Brothers at Boston University September 8.  The Walsh Brothers are a hilarious Boston comedy duo who just did the Aspen Comedy Festival and are blowing up.

 Lastly, I just did a show at Grand Valley State University that went great.  It was a packed room of about 250-300 kids, 17 of which I’m now friends with on Facebook.com.  They inspired me to start a Facebook Fanclub.  Everyone was super nice, and it felt good to get some more college stagetime while preparing for my NACA Showcase.
